The History of our Company
Open Earth landscaping started as Spaulding Landscaping in 1999 when Jay graduated from Vermont Technical College with a degree in Landscaping Horticulture. We changed the name in 2001 when we decided to make the business a full time business verses a few side jobs. We have grown immensely since those first few years. Brittany was working for the Department of Homeland security as an Immigration Officer when our first child was born. She was determined be home with her baby, we were later blessed with twins and at that point decided that Brittany would finish with her job with the government and became more involved with the business.
Brittany’s degree in Business Management and her marketing skills and Jay’s work ethic and devotion to satisfying customers our business has grown immensely. We are very proud of our commitment to perfection and our professionalism.
